| Abstract: | High-speed connections and lots of personal computers make campus networks target-rich environments for malware and botnet recruitment. Without a policy enforcement tool to manage student connections, SUNY Albany has to rely on both user education and a creative use of DNS to reduce and detect compromised machines on our campus. This presentation will examine the social and technical approaches used to accomplish these goals. | |||
