Guide to PodcastingWelcome to the community contribution area of the ELI Discovery Tool: Guide to Podcasting, a place to share experiences, ideas, and information about the use of podcasting for teaching and learning.

  • Select the Blogs tab to see some of the innovative ways members of the ELI community are already using podcasting to support teaching and learning.
  • Select the How to Contribute tab to find out how to include your institution's podcasting efforts.

The Guide to Podcasting provides an overview of podcasting, case studies and examples, user perspectives, and implementation strategies. A "know-before-you-go" compendium, it is designed to assist academic technology centers, IT units, and others in making the case for integrating podcasting into teaching and learning.

Would you like to include your institution's podcasting efforts here? If you are from an EDUCAUSE member institution, simply blog it in your EDUCAUSE Connect blog:

  • Make sure you are in this EDUCAUSE Connect area of the EDUCAUSE Web site.
  • Log in to your EDUCAUSE profile. (No profile? Set one up.)
  • If you do not have one, set up an EDUCAUSE blog—it's simple (you must be from an EDUCAUSE member institution, however).
  • Post an entry to your EDUCAUSE blog about your institution's podcating program; you can include multimedia file attachments.
  • Tag the entry with this folksonomy term: ELI Guide to Podcasting.
  • Voila—your entry will appear both in your own blog and in the Blogs tab here in the Guide to Podcasting contributions area.
