Gaming and Literacy
I posted this to my blog, with a call for comments, but I am also posting it here as this is more of a living, breathing document. Please feel free to post information into this wiki as you see fit. As Laura and I move along in our research, we will also update this wiki - so make sure to subscribe so you know when changes are made. Dr. Laura Nicosia (English - Montclair State University) and I are working on a project regarding gaming and literacy. We are still defining exactly what that means :- ) and what we will specifically look at, but multi-modal learning is certainly on the radar.What are your thoughts on the use of gaming in higher education, and specifically with regards to literacy?Also, if you know of any good articles or resources for information, please feel free to add references to this wiki entry.
