In this 12 minute podcast, we feature an interview with Kim Milford, Special Assistant to the CIO at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis . She spoke to us at the Coalition for Neworked Information Fall 2007 Task Force Meeting, where she .co-presented a session entitled, "IU ChaCha Search: Research Development, and Services".

Kim Milford recently joined Indiana University as Special Assistant to the Vice President for Information Technology. In this role, Ms. Milford is leading initiatives that cross IT and university domains, such as the development of strategic alliances, enhancing online search and identity management. Prior to joining Indiana University, Ms. Milford served as the Director and Information Security Officer at the University of Rochester, where she successfully incorporated security planning and operations into strategic IT initiatives. Additionally, she developed and led an information security program that included disaster recovery planning, identity management, incident response and user awareness.
