Follow these steps to begin volunteering with EDUCAUSE. You’ll need to Sign in or Sign Up for EDUCAUSE Connect in order to apply for a volunteer opportunity.
1. Explore the current volunteer opportunities.
View the volunteer opportunities
and select the one that is right for you. When you’re ready to apply, follow the steps below.
2. Opt in to the volunteer pool.
Opt in to the volunteer pool
to be notified when new volunteer opportunities become available. Click on the button below to be added to the EDUCAUSE Volunteer pool.
3. Create your volunteer profile.
Fill out your volunteer profile
to indicate your level of expertise and area of interest. Make sure you select “yes” on the “Volunteer Pool Opt-In: Receive email notifications when volunteer opportunities become available that match your expertise.” This will allow you to receive email alerts when a new volunteer opportunity arises that matches your interests and expertise.
4. Apply to a volunteering opportunity.
Click into the individual volunteer opportunity to view more details and fill out the application. An EDUCAUSE Connect profile
is required to apply for a volunteer opportunity.
5. Check back often.
New volunteer opportunities
are being added regularly. Keep an eye out for email alerts notifying you of new opportunities that match your interests, and check back often for updates.
