Kiosks

The folks at Montclair State Univeristy are trying something interesting; cell phones as personal kiosks.  Things like campus shuttle information and dining hall menus are available to students via cell phones.  Incoming first year students get the phones for free and other students pay $50 (no word on how the monthly costs are being handled).

This looks very interesting.  I'm looking forward to hearing more about this, especailly how the university repurposed (or developed) the content and applications for the phones.
