Abstract:

This paper gives an example from the Netherlands of how we are working on a transformation of education and how information and communication technology is facilitating this. The author works in the department of Teaching and Student Affairs of Hogeschool IJselland, University of Professional Education in Deventer in the Netherlands. Within this department he is involved in the role of information- and communication technology and library services in the educational process.
