Abstract:The University System of Georgia has been forced to confront the high costs of developing online content. One way the system has done so is to focus on content sharing and reuse by deconstructing existing online courses into reusable learning objects that faculty can retrieve and incorporate into new courses. This session will explore the benefits, success factors, and pitfalls to avoid.
