Added by the EDUCAUSE Librarian
Title:IT Policy in Higher Education: Now a Presidential Concern (ID: EDU06317)
Author(s):Terry W. Hartle (American Council on Education)
Origin:Presented at EDUCAUSE Annual Conferences (10/10/2006)
Type:Presentations/Speeches
Abstract:IT policy issues, once the province of the campus IT leaders, now demand an increasing share of attention across the entire campus executive leadership. Hear how the American Council on Education, EDUCAUSE, and other higher education associations work together to create and share a "higher education position" on pressing issues such as network neutrality, CALEA, and P2P file sharing with campus and government leaders.
