Abstract:Using an amalgamation of open-source and commercial technologies, the New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) developed the Student Employment Management System (SEMS), which has facilitated efficient coordination of campus resources to serve the needs of the campus community. SEMS is highly integrated with NJIT's major management systems. Only NJIT students and staff can access SEMS with its secure single sign-on process.

Rowan University has developed a student worker program that combines WebCT and real-world training to culminate in A+ certification for our student workers. This presentation will show how this investment "pays us back."
