Just Don't Call It "Banner": NMSU's Integrated ERP Project

New Mexico State University began an aggressive ERP project in October 2003 with a conversion to Banner at the core. Simultaneously, NMSU also went live with workflow, imaging, portal and CMS, SCT ODS/EDW, Cognos reporting, SCT student marketing (Matrix), eVisions, Appworx, and Higher Markets. Although we are tired, the project changed our culture.

Enterprise Software Projects: The Veterans' View

In recent years, many colleges and universities have undertaken large-scale software initiatives. Along the way to wrestling successes from all the alligators in the swamps of implementation, most of us involved have learned invaluable lessons we want to share. In this session, we'll reflect on some of the key learnings throughout the projects to introduce new university-wide administrative systems at our institutions.
