 <description>Sunoikisis, a virtual classics department formed by classicists at 13 liberal arts colleges, blends on-campus teaching with distributed, online, interinstitutional instruction. This evaluation studies Sunoikisis by examining the gains and challenges to institutions and asks how institutions can sustain liberal arts education values while increasing reliance on technology in the classroom.</description>

 <title>REALIA Project: Building a Collaborative, Digital Collection for Teaching</title>

 <description>Three consortia representing more than 40 liberal arts institutions joined forces to create and manage a Web-based, searchable collection of media for teaching foreign languages and cultures. The REALIA (Rich Electronic Archive for Language Instruction Anywhere) Project has created a unique tool that helps address a core need of thousands of faculty members.</description>

 <title>Converting Existing Online Courses to Learning Objects</title>

 <description>The University System of Georgia has been forced to confront the high costs of developing online content. One way the system has done so is to focus on content sharing and reuse by deconstructing existing online courses into reusable learning objects that faculty can retrieve and incorporate into new courses. This session will explore the benefits, success factors, and pitfalls to avoid.</description>
