Abstract:

Providing library resources to the learner, at the point of need, is the focus of the University of Wisconsin Colleges Library Course Page Project. Each course has a dynamically created library course page, which provides learners with these materials. We will present features and implementation information, as well as how the program has been received.

Abstract:A cooperative project among three Illinois institutions to incorporate standard tools to enhance library resources and services within a course management system will be demonstrated. Using RSS feeds within Blackboard, the libraries provide content targeted for individual courses as well as research tutorials and general library information for students and faculty.

Abstract:Learn about a new breed of library service, Information Commons Production Services (ICPS). This unit targets the creation and delivery of educational content and information resources. By partnering with individuals and departments, ICPS extends the traditional service role of the library into more entrepreneurial ventures involving multimedia authoring, digitization, publishing, information design, and application development.
