Abstract:

Since instituting a mandatory review and approval process for all contracts involving IT, we've become aware of how few people know how to prepare a good contract and how few contracts truly protect our data. Whether the amount of data is minor or mind-blowing, processes and templates can help protect our data and our institutions.

Indiana State University--along with its traditional marketing and information tools of newspaper ads, security videos, security awareness panel, food court table tents, and posters--created the Cyber Security Haunted House for students.

Abstract:RINGS provides a complete open source system that scales to the entire campus. This system includes layered security, DHCP services, device registration, account management, security notifications, device security, and an administrator interface that provides tools to technicians, management, and IT security that they need to get their job done effectively.
