Abstract:

This friend of the court brief, written by the Electronic Frontier Foundation on behalf of amici, argues in favor of Verizon's attempts to squash subpoenas issued by a clerk of the court as requested by the RIAA under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act's Sec. 512(h) requiring an Internet Service Provider to provide the contact information of their customers cited for alleged copyright infringement.
