Abstract:The University System of Maryland and Affiliated Institutions library consortium implemented OCLC's ILLiad system on eight campuses to enhance consortial sharing of articles and other materials. What are the critical questions to ask when planning this type of service? What policy and process issues need to be addressed when noncampus users begin to access local resources?
