We have created an IPTV system that allows our users to watch anything from Desperate Housewives to the latest talk on ResearchChannel on their computer or a TV. This session will explain how the system works, the reactions of our users, and the system's unexpected benefits.

Apple's free iTunes U service offers a powerful way to distribute audio and video content to users on campus and beyond. The three University of Illinois campuses have deployed iTunes U and are using it today. We'll share the strategies they used for technical set-up, site organization, content production, and workflow.

Abstract:Eastern Illinois University has implemented text-captioned video podcasts and a Web site to reinforce traditional software instruction. This presentation will demonstrate how the project was developed and implemented, with emphasis on inspiring participants to apply this instructional delivery method to other subjects in both traditional and distance-learning environments.
