Abstract:

In evaluating student computing, Computing Services discovered that many students found campus computer labs inadequate for collaborative work. This presentation will cover the redefinition of one lab from assessment of student needs to space redesign, implementation, and initial follow-up assessment.

Abstract:In response to student demand for collaborative, networked group workspaces, the Gordon Library and Academic Technology Center at WPI joined up to install tech suites in the library, which allow small groups to use cutting-edge technology to collaborate with each other and remote participants.
