Abstract:In late 2003, the decision was made to migrate My UW–Madison, the University of Wisconsin–Madison's three-year old enterprise portal, from using a commercial framework to the open source uPortal software. This presentation will highlight the review process, the initial project planning, and the management of the migration project itself.
