The report is timed to inform Universitywide discussions - many of them prompted by a <a href="http://www.universityofcalifornia.edu/senate/committees/scsc/reports.html">series of faculty white papers</a> - about strategic responses to challenges and opportunities in the evolution of scholarly publishing and communication.
