Abstract:A funny thing happened on the way to the Windows 2000 and Active Directory Server deployment: The central IT organization, under pressure from departments, offered to deploy a pilot Exchange Mail Server to meet their "collaboration" needs. The implications of Exchange for your AD and general campus computing infrastructure will be discussed, along with the results of our pilot Exchange server.
