| Abstract: | In August the FCC ruled that all facilities-based Internet service providers are subject to the Communications Assistance for Law Enforcement Act (CALEA). This session will review the decision and the impact it might have on your campus. Under the ruling, any entity that owns and runs the equipment connecting end users to the Internet is covered, including most colleges and universities, libraries, and municipal, state, and regional nonprofit networks. | |
