Abstract:In January 2006, Temple University opened the TECH Center, the largest facility of its kind in the nation. Designed to meet student technology needs and encourage collaborative work, the 24-hour center features 640-plus student workstations, multimedia breakout rooms, specialized labs, extensive wireless lounge space, a help desk, faculty resources, and a cybercafé.
