NLR and Internet2 to merge; Meanwhile Internet3 begins?

It seems that the National LambdaRail and Internet2 are going to merge ... creating the "New National Networking Organization" or "N3O" for short.  You can find out more at the URL below.

Meanwhile, wired is reporting that internet pioneer David Clark is working with the NSF to create a "clean slate" internet architecture.
