| Abstract: | In 1998, five individuals representing five academic disciplines were awarded the Educom Medal for outstanding contributions made to improving undergraduate education through information technology. This article shares observations from these winners about the value of technology to the educational process, their concerns about institutional priorities, their insights into the level of institutional support necessary for positive change to occur, and their thoughts about a technology infrastructure that would enhance the teaching and learning process. |
