Abstract:This session engages conference participants in the practices of an exciting and innovative curriculum focused on connecting community-based learning in a nonprofit agency to municipal needs of helping mentally handicapped artists display their art on the Web. The curriculum educates Pace University students in civic engagement and public values through a Web design program where they implement actual Web sites that benefit nonprofit agencies.
