| Abstract: | The ResearchChannel is an intellectual community that acts as a technology test bed and innovator for new methods to globally distribute scholarly research. Network, computing, and content-creation collaborations allow participants to make the most of traditional, new, and emerging technologies. New technologies are essential for enhancing research, reaching a wider audience, and providing alternative, high-speed exchanges of video resources. Through partnerships and collaborations with other academic and research institutions, the ResearchChannel creates accessible, high-quality video resources for use within scientific communities. This session will also include a briefing regarding efforts to improve access to federally funded research by Clifford Lynch from CNI. |
