| Abstract: | Information Technology strategy needs to be derived from institutional strategy and focused on what we do with it, not just what it is – focus on the value added, not just the sunk cost. In particular, the role of IT in transforming teaching and learning is critically important to the success of our institutions. Successful CIOs use proven techniques to align IT strategies, to operationalize these strategies, to rationalize IT investments, and to ensure their efforts are transformative for their institutions. | |
