Abstract:Privacy and security measures complement each other, and a sound security program incorporates privacy law and regulatory requirements into its policies, procedures, and protocols. This session provides an overview of the relevant law and regulations for IT, a template for how to structure and perform a privacy risk assessment, and an understanding the importance of weaving privacy concepts into a comprehensive security program.
