Abstract:

Alameda County, California, conducted a field survey of the use of elementary classroom computers for academic purposes during the first half of 2006. The purpose of the survey was to help improve K–12 teacher credential training courses in educational technology (ISTE-NETS, 2006) at a local university, based on actual field conditions.
