Scott Stephenson

I am a Senior Information Technology Architect for the University of Washington, working for the Application Integration Services group, a branch of Enterprise Information Services in the Office of Information Management (OIM). I am focused on creating a loosely-coupled systems architecture that allows for greater business agility, leverages the core IT investment and enables innovation by OIM's diverse partners. A key piece of that challenge involves "freeing" the information and processes that reside in the university systems in an evolutionary -- not revolutionary -- fashion. Service Oriented Architecture will likely be a key component of these efforts. I have a B.S.E. in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor and an M.S. from M.I.T. in Aeronautics and Astronautics.
