Carol A. Kunze is an attorney in California. Carol
graduated from Georgetown University Law Center in
1980, and also received an LLM in tax from
Georgetown in 1983. She started her legal career
in Washington, D.C., then moved to Brussels,
Belgium to practice in the international tax area.>p>In 1987 Carol became Chief European Counsel for an
American multinational company, and was later
transferred to San Francisco to cover domestic
issues. Leaving that position for the high tech
arena, Carol has for several years focused on
legislative and policy work relating to software
and e-commerce.

Carol is the creator of UCITA Online
(www.ucitaonline.com), a website on the Uniform
Computer Information Transactions Act. She
attended the UCITA drafting committee meetings
from 1996 - 1999. More recently, she has
represented open source interests in the policy
and legislative arena, including at the UCITA
drafting committee meeting in November 2001.
