About MeMy BioStefan has worked for the University of Wisconsins Division of Information Technology (DoIT) Security Team since August 2001. Originally he was hired to coordinate security projects and controls within the Integrated Student Information System. Since then Stefan has taken a more active role in creating procedures and processes around how to secure IT systems. Most recently he has worked with others to create an Information Technology Security Program and is currently working on identifying a common IT Security Risk Management framework. Stefan is also participating in the Educause Security Task Force. The Network Application Consortium (NAC; www.netapps.org) elected Stefan to their Board of Directors in November of 2005. As a member of NAC Stefan co-chaired a committees to create a paper on Enterprise Security Architecture. Currently, Stefan is instructing a course in Network Security Basics for the Madison Area Technical College. Previously, Stefan managed projects to update the Wisconsin State Legislatures Automated Bill Drafting Systems. |
