John Nworie

Dr. John Nworie has had years of work experiences in higher education. He has worked in faculty development, technology training, and has coordinated the services of instructional technology support units in higher education. He has held professional positions that include, Coordinator for Media Services at Baltimore City Community College, Coordinator for Media and Computer Services at the College of Nursing, Rutgers University, and Academic Technology Consultant, at Cal State University, Fullerton. He has published papers and presented on various topics at professional conferences. John earned his doctorate in Instructional Systems at the Pennsylvania State University. He holds a master's degree in Instructional Technology form Towson University, a master's degree in Communications from Shippensburg University, and a bachelor's degree from the University of Oklahoma, Norman. His areas of interest include: Issues affecting instructional technology centers, leadership of academic technology in higher education, faculty support in technology application, developing learning environments, instructional development consulting in higher education, distance learning, faculty and organizational development, and knowledge management.
