John Turner

John Turner is the Director of Networks and Systems at Brandeis University, where he has played a significant role in turning IT infrastructure into a service oriented delivery system. The Networks and Systems group is responsible for all IT infrastructure including VoIP Data Networks, Data Base administration, Windows / Linux systems administration, Virtualization, Help Desk, Email and all network services. Recent major projects include creation of a Highly Available virtualized Moodle infrastructure, virtualization of PeopleSoft, campus wide Network refresh, Campus wide wireless, SAN implementation, and other fun projects! John has been with Brandeis for 12 years.
