Eric Jansson

Eric leads NITLE's collaboration in digital assets management. He develops communities of practice that collaboratively assess digital assets and create strategies for managing them effectively. He plans and implements programs to increase the availability and use of digital media in teaching and research activities, and provides expertise about relevant technologies. Eric also develops partnerships with key organizations and groups in the area of digital libraries and digital resources.


Before joining NITLE, Eric Jansson worked in commercial software devlopment, where he lead development of several commercial software applications for secondary school and higher education markets. He specialized in development of web-based collaborative groupware and curriculum management software.

Eric attended Cornell University as an undergraduate and received a MA in English from the University of Texas at Austin.
