My Bio
Wende Morgaine is currently faculty at Portland State University. In 2005 and 2006 she was the Chief Portfolio Architect, leading the adoption of Open Source Portfolio across Portland State University, Oregon's largest university. In that capacity, she also served as CLE Communications Lead, coordinating the migration to Sakai from WebCT. In addition, she organized strategic planning among leaders in open source across the Portland State campus, which is a hub for open source.
Wende continues to serve as a consultant to higher education institutions around the country about implementing the Open Source Portfolio or Sakai locally.
Wende holds an MST in Interdisciplinary Film Studies, specializing in genre scholarship and has taught courses on film and television for sophomore and seniors in Portland State's award-winning University Studies program.
