Shelley Henson

Shelley Henson is Assistant Director for Outreach for COSL and a doctoral student in the Department of Instructional Technology at Utah State University. Her interests include self-organizing learning communities, open content, the hijacking of emergent social networking technology in the service of learning, mobile learning, and manifestation of self and group identity in online environments. Shelley has been adjunct faculty, an employee trainer, and online course developer for Weber State University. Before that she developed adventure-based corporate leadership programs and therapeutic interventions for adolescents with behavioral disorders. She received her B.S. in Recreation Management and Youth Leadership from Brigham Young University, and her M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction from Weber State University.
