Marilu Goodyear

Marilu Goodyear is Associate Professor of Public Administration at the University of Kansas. From 1999 until 2005 she was the vice provost for information services and the chief information officer for The University of Kansas. In this role, she lead all campus-wide software, hardware and networking technology services, printing services and the KU libraries. Dr. Goodyear holds master's degrees in library and information science and public administration from the University of Missouri, as well as a doctorate in public administration from the University of Colorado. During the academic year 2005-2006, Dr. Goodyear will work part-time with EDUCAUSE on leadershipand management programs. She also serves as an ECAR Fellow. In August of 2006 she will return to her faculty position in KU's Graduate Program in Public Administration where she teaches in information policy, organizational change and technology areas. Her research areas include electronic information policy development, mentoring, organizational change and scholarly communication.
