Nancy Millichap
About MeMy BioNancy Millichap directs and coordinates all professional development programs offered by NITLE, a nonprofit advancing liberal education through programming for the participating liberal arts colleges nationwide. She develops opportunities for participants that expand their professional experiences in the innovative and effective use of technologies in teaching and learning. She ensures the pedagogical appropriateness of these opportunities as well as their timeliness, intellectual integrity, smooth operation, and general quality. Working in cooperation with participating colleges and fellow staff members, she shapes NITLE's overall professional development program agenda and oversees the development of Workshops To Go as well as seminars, symposia, conferences, and planning meetings associated with targeted collaborations. In this work, she identifies appropriate topics, supports planning and program development processes, identifies and recruits presenters and facilitators, and coordinates program evaluations. Nancy completed her undergraduate work at Shippensburg University and received the M.A. in English from Middlebury College. Her prior positions in the higher education sphere have included assistant director of humanities computing at Dartmouth College, assistant director of the Indiana Higher Education Telecommunication System (IHETS), and director of NITLE's Midwest Instructional Technology Center. |
