Thomas J. Barton

Tom Barton is Senior Director for Integration at the University of Chicago, where he works with technical and IT organizational leaders to move UofC's systems and infrastructure toward rather than away from technical and policy coherence. He had previous assignments as Director of IT Infrastructure and Director of Network Services at the University of Memphis, where he was a practicing mathematician before turning to the dark side. He's active in several MACE/Internet2 working groups, leads the MACE/Internet2 Directories Working Group's Grouper project, and is a member of MACE
