Ginny B. Cake

Ginny Cake is currently the Assistant Chief Information Officer at Duke University and is part of the CIO's senior management team. Prior to this position she had direct oversight for the central IT Project Office and Consulting Services whose recent accomplishments include implementing an undergraduate student portal (https://dukepass.duke.edu), the Duke Digital Initiative (http://www.duke.edu/ddi/), a Message and Event system for the Duke Health System, development of a Service/Product Life Cycle Process, development of storage services roadmap and planning the implementation for a new Duke Event Calendar. Ginny's 34 years of experience also includes IT service and support management in a university setting with specialization in planning and daily operations for technical support services such as Help Desk, desktop support, computer labs, marketing, and communications.
