Linda O'Brien

Linda O'Brien is currently Vice-Principal Information at the University of Melbourne with accountability for the University's information strategy, managing the University's libraries and cultural collections, corporate records and information and communication technology services, systems and infrastructure.

In previous roles within other universities Linda has been accountable for all university administrative and service functions, secretary to the university council and held a range of library and IT management roles.

Linda has formal qualifications in education, library and information science, public sector management and has completed the Australian Company Directors Diploma. She is currently a board member of VERNeT, the Victorian Education and Research Network and VPAC, the Victorian Partnership for Advanced Computing.
