My Bio

Dwight Fischer is the CIO at Plymouth State University where he is responsible for all aspects strategic planning, operations and consulting around information technology, computing, telecom and network resources. Prior to that he directed Enterprise Computing for the University System of New Hampshire. There he led the IT support for a statewide, multi-campus implementation of a finance and HR information system. During that project, Fischer led the design and planning of and move to a new data center. Prior to that, Fischer was the director of Administrative Information Systems at Keene State College. There he was project manager for the implementation of a new student information system. He also managed the Aspire Program, an academic support program, and was assistant director of the Upward Bound Program.

Fischer received his undergraduate degree from Colorado State University. He holds an MSE in counseling from the University of Wisconsin and is a graduate of the Executive MBA from the Whittemore School of Business and Economics from the University of New Hampshire.
