Robert Yanckello

Bob Yanckello is Chief Technology Officer at Orlando’s University of Central Florida. As the director he leads the department that supports all aspects of the university’s computing, networking, and telecommunications operations. The department provides enterprise application and systems development, document imaging, email and web hosting, and academic support services as well as telephone, cable television and other communication services for the entire university community. Yanckello was employed at Central Connecticut State University, from 1989 to 2004, where he held various positions including Director of Institutional Research, ERP Project Manager and CIO.

He has published several articles and delivered presentations on the topic of Total Quality Management. He is actively involved in statewide and regional organizations including EDUCAUSE Southeast Regional Conference (SERC) program committee and the Florida Association of Educational Data Systems (FADES)

Yanckello holds a master’s degree in higher education administration from Pennsylvania State University and a management degree from Juniata College.
