About MeMy BioAime DeGrenier is the Manager of the Community Technical Support team within Library, Information and Technology Services (LITS) at Mount Holyoke College. This team is focused on community needs and outreach in technical support across campus. The CTS team manages the campus computer labs, all desktop systems, purchasing, the Help Desk, student technology assistants and the Digitization Center. For eight years Aime was the curricular support liaison to the Humanities faculty as well as the manager of the Faculty Resource Center. Aime has supported many instructional technology projects on campus including, Historical Atlas with Robert Schwartz, WebAudio with Martha Ackmann, Spirituals and the Blues with John Grayson, and The Medieval Lyric with Margaret Switten. Aime has helped integrate WebCT into the curriculum at Mount Holyoke and has developed unique uses of some standard WebCT modules; in particular a Collaborative Writing Tool developed within the Student Presentation Module has been used across the curriculum for over five years. Aime has a Masters Degree in Education from the University of Massachusetts and has taught course in Social Justice Education at both the undergraduate and graduate level. Aime served with the U.S. Peace Corps in Honduras from 1990-1992. |
