My Bio
John M. Ashby is an Enterprise Architect at Saint Louis University, participating as part of a newly-formed team charged with focusing IT efforts across business strategies to increase ROI. Over the last 18 years he served as Director of Educational Technology, Associate Director of Academic IT, and Director of Instructional Media at Saint Louis University.
His career has been focused largely on learning spaces management and the convergence of digital technologies in support of teaching and learning. He was a leader in advancing videoconferencing and streaming in support of academic activities, and led the conversion of 100% of the University classrooms to standards-based presentation systems from 1999-2001. He has actively participated in institutional strategic planning for technology under three different administrations. In addition, his 17 years as an adjunct instructor lends an academic perspective to all of his technology activities.
Mr. Ashby holds an MA degree in Communication from Saint Louis University.
