Diane J. Graves

Diane Graves is University Librarian at Trinity University, San Antonio. Prior to that position, she served first as Library Director, then Dean of Library & Information Services at Hollins University in Roanoke, VA. She has also served in library administrative positions at the University of Mississippi and at Loyola University/Chicago. In her current position, Graves focuses on information literacy, marketing services to students and faculty, and promoting positive change from the traditional academic library to a more dynamic service and access environment. The shift from the traditional, print-based scholarly information publishing model (and the reward systems that support it) to alternative, technology supported systems is central to her interest in this area. Trinity's Coates Library was selected by the Association of College & Research Libraries as the recipient of the 2007 Excellence in Academic Libraries Award, College Division.
Graves serves as the Copyright Officer at her institution and has been involved in numerous building projects. Graves is active in EDUCAUSE and the Oberlin Group of Library Directors. She holds the B.A. in English and Master of Librarianship degrees from Emory University.
