About MeMy BioMr. Hach is the Associate Director of Network Administration, Special Projects and Initiatives for Communications Network Services at Virginia Tech. He has over 23 years of experience in telecommunications and brings to the university a background that includes a variety of staff, line and technical sales assignments with AT&T, including National Account Manager for the Commonwealth of Virginia, where he assisted government and education customers in their use of communications technology. Among other projects at Virginia Tech, he is currently involved at the university in planning for a telecommunications infrastructure upgrade and initiatives to improve wireless technology and services to faculty, staff and students. Mr. Hach received his Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, VA and his M.Ed. in Adult Education and Human Resource Development from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA. He is a member of the Association for Communications Technology Professionals in Higher Education, the Net@EDU Converged Communications Working Group and the Sprint Nextel Higher Education Advisory Board. |
