About MeMy BioPaul Killey has been a staff member at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor for over 25 years. Over that time he has held a number of different positions. He is currently the Executive Director of Information Technology for the College of Engineering and also holds a partial appointment in the Office of the Provost. He leads the College's Office of Information Technology. The Office of Information Technology and its component groups have broad operational and provisioning responsibilities for a full and comprehensive range of information technology services such as instructional technology, distance learning, web services, data networking, high performance computing, student computing labs, and core computing services. A total of approximately 7,500 graduate and undergraduate students are enrolled in the College of Engineering. There are 319 tenured and tenure-track and 79 research faculty in the College. He has also worked on a number of campus-level projects. One of these, a 10,000 square foot data center with a total power draw of 4 MW, is nearly done with its construction phase. Paul has been involved with this project from its inception and is now working with others in the campus community to bring this facility on line. |
